Spicy Grilled Chicken Caesar Tacos
Ingredients
Chicken Marinade
- 5-6 boneless chicken breasts
- ⅓ cup Bona Furtuna Everyday Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- ½ cup red wine vinegar
- ¾ teaspoon basil dried
- ½ teaspoon oregano dried
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 ½ teaspoon kosher salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice fresh
- 1 teaspoon dijon mustard
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire
Caesar Dressing
- ¾ cup mayo
- 1 teaspoon dijon mustard
- 1 teaspoon Worcersthire
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice fresh
- 1-2 anchovy filets finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic minced
- ¼ cup parmesan freshly grated
- ⅛ teaspoon black pepper plus additional for serving
- ⅛ teaspoon kosher salt
- 1 tablespoon Bona Furtuna Everyday Extra Virgin Olive Oil
Spicy Grilled Chicken Caesar Tacos
- 8-12 tortillas taco size
- 1 ½ cups parmesan cheese freshly shredded, plus additional for serving
- romaine lettuce chopped
- Tari Hot Sauce for drizzling and dipping
- lemon zest for serving
Instructions
Chicken Marinade
- Add chicken breasts to a large bowl along with ⅓ cup Bona Furtuna Everyday Extra Virgin Olive Oil and the remaining chicken marinade ingredients. Caesar Dressing
- Meanwhile, combine the caesar dressing ingredients, including 1 tablespoon Bona Furtuna Everyday Extra Virgin Olive Oil, in a medium bowl. Whisk well, add a splash of water if needed to thin, then refrigerate until ready to use.¾ cup mayo, 1 teaspoon dijon mustard, 1 teaspoon Worcersthire, 1 tablespoon lemon juice, 1-2 anchovy filets, 2 cloves garlic, ¼ cup parmesan, ⅛ teaspoon black pepper, ⅛ teaspoon kosher salt, 1 tablespoon Bona Furtuna Everyday Extra Virgin Olive Oil
Spicy Grilled Chicken Caesar Tacos
- Grill the chicken until golden and cooked through then remove from grill.
- Toast tortillas on grill, then top each with a generous sprinkle of parmesan cheese. Close the grill until the cheese is melted, then remove from grill.8-12 tortillas, 1 ½ cups parmesan cheese
- Slice the grilled chicken and add a few pieces to each tortilla with melted parmesan.
- Toss chopped romaine with some of the caesar dressing, then top each taco with some of the dressed lettuce, as well as grated parmesan.romaine lettuce
