This lobster martini is similar to a dirty martini with celery-infused vodka and a splash of lobster juice to add that quintessential flavor! Serve it up with some baked lobster tails and you have the perfect summery, New England-esque meal.

Now before I scare you away, if you love a classic extra dirty martini then this may be your new favorite summer drink! Some celery-infused vodka adds that flavor which pairs so well with lobster - and a splash of caper juice, vermouth, and lemon juice give it that dirty martini vibe. A splash of lobster juice (don't worry, no real lobster in this drink!) gives it a subtle seafood sweetness. Add a sprinkle of celery seed and old bay, and you have a super dirty but classy summer drink!

Why You'll Love this Recipe
- A fun twist on a dirty martini.
- A perfect recipe if you love all things lobster.
- Not an expensive lobster recipe!
Key Ingredients
This summer cocktail has an easy list of ingredients that should be super accessible to purchase. No lobster meat in these martinis!

- Celery-infused vodka - See recipe card notes for an easy homemade version.
- Lobster juice - I used the Bar Harbor Maine Lobster Juice which I found at Market Basket! It adds a little lobster flavor, without actually adding lobster!
- Vermouth - Gives it that classic dirty martini flavor.
- Lemon juice - Adds some zestiness! I would definitely recommend using fresh lemon juice, not lime juice.
- Caper juice - Adds brininess like olive juice in a classic dirty martini! I like to buy a jar of capers and just strain in some of the juice.
- Celery seed or dried parsley - Flavors that pair well with the lobster juice and adds another savory aspect.
- Old bay seasoning - The best seasoning for seafood! And looks super pretty sprinkled on to icy martini glasses and lemon wedges.
- Lobster claw or tail, celery stalk, lemon wedge - Just some garnish options! Dill would also be a great addition.
See recipe card below for quantities.
Step by Step Instructions
Ready in just 5 minutes!
Step 1: Make the celery-infused vodka. See note if making celery-infused vodka.
Step 2: Prepare the glass and garnishes. Rim a chilled martini or coupe glass with a sprinkle of old bay seasoning and prepare garnishes.

Step 3: Add ingredients to a cocktail glass. Add celery-infused vodka, lobster juice, vermouth, lemon juice, caper juice, and a sprinkle of celery seed to a cocktail shaker.

Step 4: Finish drink. Add ice and shake well until the shaker is very cold. Strain into prepared glass, add a sprinkle more of celery seed, and garnish with a lobster claw or tail, celery stalk, and lemon wedge coated with old bay.

Pro Tip!
Make sure to serve these right away because they're best ice cold!
Tips for Making this Lobster Martini
- I definitely recommend making the homemade celery vodka! It's super easy and adds a flavor that pairs so well with the lobster juice.
- For an extra-chilled glass, run it briefly underwater and pop it in the freezer for about 10 minutes. You can then gently press on some crushed ice, pop it back in the freezer, and you'll have the coolest rim! Make sure to sprinkle with some old bay seasoning.
- Serve these up with some baked lobster tails for the perfect meal! Our quick recipe is in the recipe card notes.
FAQs
I found it at Market Basket but you can also get it on Amazon!
Absolutely! You could also just spray a little in the glass instead of putting ¼ ounce in the drink if desired.
Baked lobster tails (recipe in our recipe card notes), lobster rolls (duh!), or any other summery seafood dish would be perfect!

Storing and Freezing
These lobster martinis are best served right away and I don't recommend saving them as leftovers.
